Neighboring Societies

The Arlington Genealogical Society meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm, at the Community Room of the Arlington West Police Service Station at 2060 W. Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, TX 76010. No meetings in July or August.

The Dallas Genealogical Society General meetings are open to the public and are held the first Saturday of the month in the J. Erik Johnson Center Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Registration and social time begins at 10:30am. A short business meeting starts at 11:00am, followed by a program of interest to family history researchers from 11:30am to 12:30pm. No meetings held June-August.

Fort Worth Genealogical Society meets on the last Tuesday of each month.  The meetings are 6:30 – 7:45 pm (Doors open at 6:00 for coffee) in the Tandy Auditorium of the Fort Worth Central Library (Downtown) 500 West 3rd Street Fort Worth, Texas.  Our Beginners Class meets in the morning of the fourth Saturday, January through August, and our Computer Users Group meets the same afternoon in the Intel Computer Lab to learn about software or sites on the Internet.

The Ellis County Genealogical Society meets the first Monday of each month, 7:00pm at the Ellis County Women’s Building, 407 West Jefferson Street, Waxahachie, TX.

The Grand Prairie Genealogical Society has monthly meetings on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30pm – 8:30pm, at the Grand Prairie Memorial Library, 901 Convover Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051

The Lancaster Genealogical Society meets at the Lancaster Veteran’s Memorial Library, 220 West Main Street, Lancaster, TX 75146, at 7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month. (October – September)

The Mid-Cities Genealogical Society Meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Euless Public Library, 201 North Ector, Euless, TX, 6:30pm is social time; 7:00pm general meeting.

The Rockwall County Genealogical Society meets the first Thursday of the month from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the genealogy section of the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E. Yellow Jacket Ln, Rockwall, TX 75087.
